RELEASE EARLY, RELEASE OFTEN: Your personal invite
Release early, Release often (AI Generated)
Last year during the very hot summer months, a casual phone call between Sophie & Matthias turned into the founding moments of our book ‘All Hands On Tech’. Back then the idea was born to write down our experience working within tech in a corporate setup and a pure digital player. We want to share what we learned about building software with the community. It took a couple of months to figure out how we want to approach this but now we are ready with our first MVB - Minimum Viable Book.
We have published our book on Leanpub.com for public review and we would like to know you opinion on it.
This briefing will guide you on what to look for and how to provide the most helpful feedback.
Purpose of This Review:
The primary goal of this community review is to gather insights and feedback on the content before it undergoes professional copy and line editing. Your input will help ensure that the book addresses the most pressing needs and questions of tech leaders and organizations.
What to Focus On: As you read, please pay particular attention to the following aspects:
1. Content Relevance: Does the information provided in each chapter align with current industry practices and challenges?
2. Clarity of Concepts: Are the ideas and methodologies explained clearly? Are there any areas that need further elaboration or simplification?
3. Practical Applicability: How actionable are the suggestions and strategies presented? Can you envision applying these concepts in your organization?
4. Chapter Structure: Is the flow of information logical within each chapter and across the book as a whole?
5. Gaps in Information: Are there any crucial topics or subtopics that you feel are missing or underrepresented?
6. Case Studies and Examples: While noting that more will be added, do you have suggestions for types of case studies or examples that would be particularly illustrative?
7. Technical Accuracy: If you have expertise in specific areas covered, please comment on the technical accuracy of the content.
What is Currently Missing:
Please be aware that the following elements are known to be incomplete or missing in this draft:
1. Graphics and Illustrations: Placeholder text may indicate where graphics will be added. Feel free to suggest ideas for visual aids that could enhance understanding.
2. Personal Examples: More anecdotes and personal experiences will be incorporated to illustrate key points.
3. Professional Editing: The text has not yet undergone professional copy and line editing. Focus on content rather than grammar or style issues.
4. Data from Studies: Additional empirical data and research findings will be integrated to support the concepts presented.
