EPISODE 03 - Tune in to our Podcast with Stellarwork
We needed to talk.
We recently had the chance to talk with Benjamin Igna (LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/benjamin-igna/ ) from Stellarwork about our Book All Hands on Tech. Throughout our conversation we stumbled about a couple of interesting points that we find relevant for you as well:
Introducing methods (be it CI/CD, Agility or things similar to that) will not solve those problems that you always had (e.g. lack of alignment on your strategy)
Copy & Pasting elements from others without questioning why you are doing it and what the outcome should be is a big mistake
Looking at running organizations at scale will not allow you to manage everything on Micro Level. If people run Kanban, Scrum or draw Post Its, is nothing that you should be concerned of. You have bigger problems to solve.
You can’t measure ‘how agile you are’ in a single KPI - and no, we dont count the number of teams who have a Scrum Master
If you want to know our answers to these statements, maybe you find the time to tune in:
About www.stellarwork.com: Benjamin encourages you to opt for an evolutionary approach when it comes to your organizational transformation. Instead of being dogmatic about introducing methods, frameworks and roles, he encourages you to follow the software core principle ‘inspect & adapt’. Benjamin has just recently launched his Podcast Series which we are happy to support. We can warmly recommend his other Podcast Guests such as Product Guru Joe Justice and Chris Jones who both are big supporters on product-led software organizations.
His podcasts can be enjoyed on all common platforms such as Spotify or Apple.
